The Alsace Wine Route
a must-see detour
You are on holiday in the region, you discover our beautiful Vosges mountains, nature, our many outdoor activities and museums, great program, you made the right choice :)
But don't miss the discovery of the Alsace Wine Route, which crosses Kaysersberg just a few kilometers from the Lac Blanc! Take the time to make a detour, a little detour that you will remember for sure.
The Alsace Wine Route, it's picturesque villages, half-timbered houses, cobbled streets and alleys, geraniums in the windows, castles overlooking the hills of vines, pretzels to devour at every corner, winemakers who open their cellars in all simplicity to share with you their passion and love of their craft around a good Alsace wine!
Take a stroll through the vineyards: on foot or by bike (with or without electric assistance), take a picnic with you, take time to get lost on the wine trails, experience the vineyard!
How to find a good cellar with good Alsatian wines? Nothing could be simpler: the Alsatian winemakers invite you to taste the 7 grape varieties (Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer) and the Crémant d'Alsace, find the drink that suits you!
And to enjoy the Alsace Wine Route without your car, there is the Kut'zig, the convertible bus that takes you to discover Kaysersberg Vignoble, Riquewihr, Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé, Colmar, Turckheim, Eguisheim and Vœgtlinshoffen. More info below.
