Wearing a mask

Mask are not any more compulsory in the queues, on the carpet, ski lifts and the restaurants, since 28th February 2022.

A neck strap will not be considered as a mask unless it is filtering and approved, otherwise a surgical or category 1 fabric mask will be required.

The vaccination pass

The vaccination pass is compulsory unti 13th March. This vaccination pass will replace the health pass and will lead to a vaccination obligation for all French people aged 16 and over.

This vaccine pass will not be valid for children aged 12 to 15, who will be subject to the health pass.

The vaccination pass is required for downhill skiing and for going to restaurants.
It is not required for cross-country skiing, sledding or snowshoeing. 

As of Monday, March 14, 2022, the vaccination pass will be suspended, and the mask will no longer be mandatory (except in public transportation and medical facilities).

Children aged 12 to 15 can be tested :

They could do tested in Kaysersberg, 30 minutes from the Lac Blanc resort!

  • Monday to Saturday at the Kaysersberg pharmacy (5 rue du 18 décembre) by appointment (tel. 00 33 (0)3 89 78 23 13).  Antigenic test for a result in 20 minutes
  • Monday to Saturday at the Biogroup laboratory in Kaysersberg (5 rue du 18 décembre) without appointment. RT-PCR test for a result within 12 hours.

From 15 October 2021, the tests will only be reimbursed for medical reasons: either without a prescription for people who have already been vaccinated, or with a prescription for others. The tests will remain free for minors.
