As part of Heritage Days, the Fabrique council of the Saint-Martin d'Ammerschwihr parish and the Friends of the chapels offer you:

- Visits at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. The meeting place is in front of the entrance porch of the bell tower. Presentation of the long history of the building and its architecture.
- At 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., presentation of old musical instruments by Stéphane Schweitzer in the church choir.

- At 5 p.m., presentation of the Rinckenbach organ by the titular organist Jean-Georges Schielé.

The parish church, named after Saint-Martin, is very old. The first written mention dates back to 977 in a donation made by Adelaide, mother of Emperor Otto II, to Murbach Abbey. In 1147, Ammerschwihr was already mentioned as a "parish". The large 16th century stone vessel has undergone many ups and downs, including the enlargement of the church in 1911 by moving the bell tower. Fortunately, during the bombings of December 1944, the building was largely spared: it also contains very beautiful 16th century statues and an imposing Rinckenbach organ. The important furniture of the Colmar artist Théophile Klem (altarpiece of the Virgin, pulpit, confessionals, altars, etc.) will also be presented to the public by the friends of the St Wendelin and St Eloi chapels.
