Katzenthal

At the bottom of an admirable valley, the city of Katzenthal, also called "hill of cats" is dominated by the castle of Wineck built in 1200, sheltering a small archaeological museum.

It is also the starting point for many hikes. 

Famous for its vineyards, Katzenthal enjoys a particularly favorable micro climate that is famous for its famous grand cru WINECK SCHLOSSBERG. You can meet and make a cellar visit at the winemakers, on request.
