The alpine ski area is closed for the winter season. The Montjoie chairlift will also remain closed throughout the winter. You can still enjoy the Nordic ski trails, sledging runs and snowshoeing at Lac Blanc 1200 (Col du Calvaire).
Lac Blanc 1200: at the heart of the ski area
To enjoy the cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs, snowshoe trails, cross-country ski lessons, and other activities offered by the ESF, head to the Col du Calvaire resort at Lac Blanc 1200. Please note that the chairlift and the ski lifts are closed.
Access to the area from Lac Blanc 900
If you wish to start your ski day from Lac Blanc 900, you can take the chairlift that will take you up to 1200 meters in altitude, where all the facilities await you. This option is ideal for those arriving from Le Bonhomme.
Check the roads before you leave
Don’t forget to check the road conditions before you leave. Although the roads are generally cleared of snow, they are not always salted. Winter equipment (snow tires or chains) is mandatory from November 1st to March 31st to ensure your safety when accessing the resort.
Before departing, make sure to consult the snow report for the resort or the official website of the Collectivité Européenne d’Alsace for real-time updates on road conditions: Inforoute Alsace.
