The French Ski School: 80 years of history and passion
Founded in 1945 on the initiative of the French government, the École du Ski Français (ESF) is celebrating 80 years of commitment to skiing and teaching by qualified professionals. Instructors gradually came together, first locally and then nationally, to build a solid and recognized organization.
Today, the ESF is established throughout the French mountains and has become a major reference in the world of winter sports. Its teaching expertise, commitment to safety, and knowledge of the mountains have earned it international recognition. With nearly 17,000 instructors, it has become the largest ski school in the world.
The ESF spirit is passed on above all by those who bring it to life every day.
