The Second World War had a major impact on Alsace. Through the lens of photographers, discover the history of three communes, as seen through the eyes of Albert Schweitzer.

The Schweitzer Center marks the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the three historic communes of Kaysersberg Vignoble with an exhibition of previously unpublished period photographs.

Come and rediscover this period, through the lens of photographers of the time, residents or soldiers, close witnesses to the reality of war in Kaysersberg, Kientzheim and Sigolsheim.

These poignant images, accompanied by the eye of Albert Schweitzer, are a precious legacy. They remind us that history concerns each and every one of us.

An exhibition to learn, understand, pass on and never forget.
