Pays Welche Trail run

Important Information – Exceptional Change to the Schedule

Due to the forecast of extreme heat, the organizers have adjusted the schedule for the Trail du Pays Welche to ensure the safety of participants.

The start times and distances for the various events have been changed. The start of the first race has been moved up to 6 a.m., and its course has been shortened to 37 km. The 26-km race starts at 8 a.m., and the 10-km trail run and walk start at 9 a.m.

This mountain race, starting in Orbey, criss-crosses the trails of the Pays Welche.

On this varied course, you'll find all the types of terrain trail runners love (paths, rocky or soft trails amid blueberries and ferns, stubble and forests) also on the Vosges ridges with breathtaking scenery.

Several courses are available:

• Le Trail du Pays Welche: a 52km race with a vertical drop of 2480m 
• Les Balcons d'Orbey :  of 26km with a positive vertical drop of 1000m.
• Le Relais du Welche: 22.3 km and with a vertical drop of 1340m and 29.9 km with a positive vertical drop of 950m on the 52km Trail course;
• La Tour du Faudé: a 10km course (440 D+).
• Le Trail du Pays Welche: a 52km race with a vertical drop of 2480m
