What disciplines are offered?
Benefit from experienced instructors in various disciplines: alpine skiing, adaptive skiing (handiski), Telemark skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding.
You can also enjoy biathlon introductions and guided snowshoe outings!

Whether you prefer private lessons (as an individual session or in a series) or group lessons, you will surely find a learning option that suits your snow adventure needs!

The Lac Blanc Nordic Ski Area is open and offers lessons in classic-style cross-country skiing, skating, and biathlon.
It is not possible to book an alpine skiing lesson. The alpine ski area is closed.
At what age are ski and snowboard lessons available?
Adults can, of course, enjoy lessons, regardless of their level!
For children, lessons are offered from a very young age: little ones can discover the joys of alpine skiing from the age of 4 in a dedicated area at the Club Piou-Piou!
Between 6 and 12 years old, from “ourson” to “étoile d’or”, children can progress with ease!
For snowboarding, children can start from age 10 at the French Ski School (ESF) of Lac Blanc.
How to book ski or snowboard lessons?
Reservations for Nordic skiing lessons can be made by email or by phone at 03 89 71 33 11.
The alpine ski area is closed: alpine ski lessons will not be offered, and online sales are suspended.
Lac Blanc ESF ski school
Take advantage of the expertise of ESF instructors to discover or improve your snow sports skills, either individually or in a group.
When the Nordic area is open, lessons are offered in classic-style cross-country skiing, skating, and biathlon, by reservation via phone or email.
Private lessons: rates according to the conditions listed on the ESF website.
Introduction to and practice of biathlon:
Discover biathlon by combining Nordic skiing and laser rifle shooting:
- 2 hours for 3 to 10 people: €160, including rental of laser rifles.
- 1 hour and 30 minutes for 1 to 2 people: €100, including rental of laser rifles.
Ski touring:
Explore the mountains on a ski touring trip, accompanied by an instructor.
Tours are available for various skill levels, and routes are adapted to conditions, current permits, and participants’ expectations.
A change of location may be considered depending on conditions.
Duration: 2 hours minimum
Private lessons according to current rates
Group package: starting at €180 for 3 hours or €300 for a full day (6 hours)
You must provide your own ski touring equipment
Introduction to the use of an avalanche transceiver (AVN) is available.
Tours are offered by reservation and tailored to the participants’ skill levels and requests.
