Snowshoeing at Lac Blanc
OUR ADVICE FOR SNOWSHOEING
- check the weather forecast before setting off
- charge your mobile phone as much as possible: the cold causes it to discharge more quickly than usual
- choose marked trails
- avoid snowshoeing in sensitive areas, as this may disturb wildlife
- avoid taking your dog with you, as this may disturb wildlife
- walk in a group, with your tracks close together
- choose your route carefully, taking into account the physical condition of each participant and the duration of the outing: snowshoeing can be adapted to everyone!
- get home before nightfall: in winter, it can get dark as early as 4.30pm and by nightfall it's difficult to find your way around and judge distances.
